Transportation
We, at Broadways, aim to provide a high quality, safe and secure transportation service for the students. The students travel with a trained bus monitor and a driver. All transport is regularly maintained for safety.
Salient features:
- Supervised pick up and dispersal is ensured with the help of attendants (One male and one Female) helping children board/alight the buses.
- New transport routes can be formed on request and feasibility.
- CCTV enabled buses
- Speed Governors Installed
- GPS tracking of buses
- Siren/alarm for emergency
- Fire extinguisher installed
- Horizontal grill on windows with mesh wire for safety of children
- We have a system of parent volunteer to travel in school bus
Medical Room
Broadways has a well-equipped medical dispensary under the control of a fully-qualified nurse. The School has separate infirmaries for Boys and Girls, a tie up with a local Hospital and it conducts a quarterly medical check-up for all students. All cases of injury or illness receive immediate medical attention. In the unlikely event that specialist medical aid is required, emergency transport is immediately available to take the student to the hospital.
The following medical services are rendered at the School Infirmary.
- Attending to students who are injured or who become ill while at school, administering first-aid and other emergency nursing care, and arranging for specialized medical attention where the circumstances indicate.
- Two separate facility for girls and boys.
- Carrying out and following up on medically approved written instructions for care of sick and injured students.
- Providing instructions to learners and parents in subjects such as nutrition, rest and relaxation, communicable diseases and home healthcare.
- Imparting updated health information and coordinating care with parents, teachers and other health authorities.
- Maintaining accurate and updated health records of all learners with confidentiality and care.
- Coordinating with hospitals, first-aid services and other medical facilities.
- Tie up with Fortis Hospital for regular checkup – Dental, General and Eye
Library
Imagine a place where all students feel welcome and are encouraged to grow and learn. That space is our school library. Students and teachers love and value our library, and use them every day. Our library provides more than books, computers and other technology, databases of accurate information, e-books, plus fun and educational activities. We provide a safe haven for all students to think, create, share, and grow at our library.
Reading isn’t just a tool for school. Good reading skills will be essential throughout students’ livesâ€â€when learning to use new technology at work, when trying to understand a lease, and when figuring out the right dose of medicine to give their own kids.
Computer Room
Broadways has a very spacious computer lab, designed to meet a variety of teaching and learning styles. The entire campus is networked and the school also has Internet facility to the staff and the students. Our Computer lab provides students access to specialized computer literacy education. Unlike the clusters in the classroom, our computer lab has enough machines for each student.
Smart Class
The concept of smart class education is indeed a blessing to the students of Broadways. Smart classes use all interactive modules like videos and presentations. In fact, smart classes are almost like watching movies as sometimes, animated visuals are used to teach a point. This kind of visual is both eye-catching and young students can easily relate with them. Smart Classes improves teaching effectiveness and eases administrative tasks by providing teachers with the easy to use tools.
The possibilities or advantages of smart classrooms are endless.
Montessori Lab
The Montessori Lab at Broadways is a carefully prepared environment that suits the learning needs of children in the age group of 2.5 to 6 years.
You won't find the customary rows of school desks; children work at tables or on the floor, rolling out mats on which to work and define their work space.
There are well-defined spaces for the development of each of the 7 domains which the MySuperKid concept focuses on, such as Gross motor skills, Fine motor skills, Language skills, Cognitive skills, Social/Emotional skills, Self-help skills and Moral skills. Each of these areas features shelves or display tables with a variety of inviting materials for the students.
Because the teacher isn’t meant as the focus of attention, she can often be difficult to spot. Typically you’ll find her sitting on the floor or at a table, observing her students as they work and making notations about their progress, or consulting with an individual or a small group.
Science Lab
Science is different from any other subject. In order to understand its concepts, one has to look beyond the books and conventional classroom teaching.
The Science lab at Broadways allows the students to interact directly with the data gathered. They get a first-hand learning experience by performing various experiments on their own. Students are made to use the models and understand different scientific theories and concepts.
When they observe various things and carry out different experiments, their reasoning skills are honed and they start thinking deeply on those theories and concepts. Broadways, thus, play a vital role in bringing up the next generation of engineers and doctors.
Math Lab
The Broadways Math Lab is a place where students can learn and explore mathematical concepts and verify mathematical facts and theorems through a variety of activities using different materials.
Our Math Lab is designedto reinforce concepts taught within classes. Each day, the students practice and review topics corresponding to their daily lessons. Avariety of methods will be used to help reinforce concepts including, pencil/paper, whiteboards, and games. Practice quizzes and tests will be given to help and to identify areas where further help may be needed. Our Math Lab not only helps students learn from their mistakes, but also makes excellent study guides for the students.
Music Room
The Music Room at Broadways is carefully designed considering the factors of acoustics, sound isolation and insulation, reverberation time (RT) and ventilation. The room also has fitted carpets to provide absorption and muffle the sound of feet and chairs.
The school provides training on various instruments such as Keyboard, Tabla and Guitar.
Dance
Broadways aims to provide quality dance training to the students. We offer training on traditional dance Kathak and Salsa for children above 6 years. The training lays a strong foundation on basics and opens opportunities for the students in the field of performing arts.
Sports
Broadways believe in the importance of sports and games in school that it just not benefitsthe physical development but also increases the self-esteem and mental alertness of every child. It also motivates students, enables them to earn better grades.
